Where has 2016 gone?

Port Lincoln, Down Under

Having returned from my life down under in May, Miss Barlow has been busy getting back on track and figuring out just what my ‘track’ is. I have been slowly keeping up a little blogging since I returned and have been lucky enough to attend the opening of the Flat Racing Season at the Al Shaqab Lockindge Newbury Race Day, tried a little summer shooting at Spitfire Range, tasted local trout at The Peat Spade, partied it up at Common People Festival and hiked through mysterious Exmoor.

What’s next for Miss Barlow?…

As I start new chapters in my life and the blog flies into its second year, it seems to be ever evolving around me. It’s easily becoming a Lifestyle blog with the mixture of travel, health & wellbeing and relationship articles.

I have never been happier being single, getting back into shape, enjoying food but most importantly enjoying life. I have an ongoing bucket list that seems to gain more boxes than I can ever tick off, meeting new people and sharing travel stories just opens my mind to just how much more in the world I want to do and see. I have created a smaller more manageable list that I aim to complete by the end of the year, so 3 and half months to go!

My bucket list for the rest of the 2016:

  • Read the new Harry Potter book
  • Take a spontaneous trip away
  • Create a recipe vlog
  • Raise money for Crohns & Colitis UK
  • Go to Cosmopolitan’s Influencer Choice Awards 2016
  • Meet someone special (ever an ongoing bucket list item!)
  • Complete a Yoga Course

September will see a guest blog from ‘Mini Miss Barlow’, my taller, but younger sister who will be travelling to Morocco on a surf retreat. She’ll be bringing you all the sights, sounds, tastes and smells from this exotic location. Be prepared to be extremely jealous as it will have you scoring the internet for cheap flight deals instantly!

October will be an exciting month of weekend city breaks. The first city break will be a complete surprise so watch up to see what I get up to! The second takes me to the old city of York, during the Illumination Festival, to explore and report back on their exciting campaign – #Yorkie’s #YorkAventure!

November sees the real Miss Barlow turn 25! As a single girl with endless opportunity, I will be taking a week away over my birthday to fly anywhere that the wind takes me. I’m looking for lots of ideas, so comment below as to where you think I should spend my 25th.
