Ladies Day At Newbury Racecourse

Betfred Ladies Day – Newbury Races

With the stunning weather England has been giving us over the last two weeks it almost seems senseless to leave the country for sunshine elsewhere. It truly is beautiful when we are allowed these sudden heatwaves to take over the land, albeit short and sweet and in the words of Clean Bandit; there is nowhere else I’d rather be!

It’s this glorious British summer weather that has me absolutely buzzing for an event such as Ladies Day at Newbury Racecourse. I’m here to tell you everything to expect from this lavish event from the timetable, after-party and of course – what to wear! As usual they will be hosting the ‘Most Stylish Racegoer’ competition on the day, and if you are ‘hot to trot’ in your glamorous gear you could be the lucky winner of a 7 night dream holiday to the Seychelles worth £8,000!!

Make your grand entrance from 11am with the first race kick-starting the event at 1.25pm. Be sure to stay on to enjoy Will Young serenading you from 6pm with classics such as ‘Light My Fire’, ‘Evergreen’ and ‘Anything Is Possible’!

I love fashion, I love shopping and I love playing with different styles. Am I good at it? Not always, no. I’m not going to start preaching to you about what you should wear but I will let you know what I love and what you might see me wearing to the races. In fact, you can choose! I will propose three outfits from my favourite high street online store (Misspap.co.uk) and over the next week you can pick what you want me to wear.

The reason I love Misspap is not just because it doesn’t break the bank, but because they seem to be constantly updating and changing to fit with such a diverse world. They also keep it really simple in some cases and it is totally true that often ‘less is more’.
